Easter in Somerset; Bath

Easter Sunday saw us on a jolly to Bath.  We'd never been there before, and a trip to the actual Roman Baths was on the to-do list.

Picnic down by the weir, with many an apprehensive glance at that sky.

This is one of those places that you always see on the telly and in history books, so it was great to finally have a chance to visit.  Quite busy mind-you, but a great audio tour with loads of details.

There was plenty inside the museum, loads of artefacts, but those will keep for the model-making blog.

Not sure on the colour of the water, mindyou.  Still, they let you taste some of it.  A distinctive bouquet, to say the least.

Some experiments with reflections.

After the Baths, we reunited with the rest of the party and decided to do the tourist thing, and head up to the set of many a Regency period drama.

Eye-watering property prices, for the privilege of being gawked at by a lot of tourists.  Like us.

Amy also decided to have a play with the stitching software on her camera too.

That done, it was a nice tea out, our friends headed back to Oxfordshire, and we returned to Glasto (though we wouldn't end up taking any pics, as it was chucking it down).
