RAF Cosford

 
The Christmas hols saw a visit to RAF Cosford, and the rather wonderful museum.  I (Ben) have been visiting this museum since early childhood, and the relatively recent opening of the Cold War hangar, with its imaginatively-arranged exhibits, has drawn me back repeatedly for photography trips.  Lots of unusual angles to be found for shots, and a good playground for doing more experimental images...
 
 
 
 
OK so the above is a fairly straightforward shot, mainly because we both really, really want this magnificent Land Rover...
 
 
...and we couldn't resist a shot of the full-size model kit spitfire, and fake James May, from the "Toy Stories" programme a few winters back...
 




 
 
And as we left, the most magnificent sunset (we actually got to see a few of these over these days, as the weather obligingly went very cold, dry, and clear).
 
 
Next time, the Severn Valley Railway...
