Second week of the summer hols, we took a trip to Portmeirion. This has become one of our favourite places for a stroll, we try to go at least once a summer, though this visit was to get some inspiration for one of Ben's miniatures projects.
The arch from the car park to the entrance.
We tried a path we haven't been down before- nice composition with the arches.
Having a bit of a play with the fisheye lenses.
This was the sort of thing we were out to photograph- getting the details of the colours, the stonework, and so on.
Down by the estuary.
More detail shots.
After a nice spot of lunch, we took a walk up in the woods.
A nice day out; there'll be some pics on the model making blog of the project that was associated with the visit.
