Just a little update today. On the way to South Wales, we called in at Llandrindod Wells, as a matter of paying our respects. My (Ben's) Grandparents were both keen cyclists in their youth, and following the passing of my Grandad, his prized racing bicycle went on display at the National Cycling Museum in the Welsh market town. We broke the journey there for lunch, went to the museum to see the displayed bike.
Whilst there, we thought we'd get a few abstract shots too.
There were some decidedly unusual machines in the museum; how impressive would a modern bike be with not only a wooden frame, but an animal figurehead?
It was only a quick trip, but we were very impressed with the museum, which crams a surprising amount of history into a relatively small space.
