The Middleton Railway "90 Years of the Diesel" gala; whilst Amy was getting the general magazine shots, my (Ben's) plan was to get reference pics for a few larger articles.
First stop, the railbus; I have a plan to build this for the garden railway. I took a load of pictures of it when it arrived burned-out on the KWVR, then again when it was externally and mechanically restored, and going back to the Middleton.
Here's another one, the veteran Hunslet shunter. Again, probably a Garden Rail build.
Then it was up to Park Halt, the idea being to get a load of shots for a layout planning piece.
Couldn't resist a side-shot of the Kerr,Stuart. Might be a build project one day.
Equally, I wanted to get some pics of the Balm Road branch at the other end; I got enough shots there to form the basis of a separate post.
A couple of arty shots.
All done, and plenty of shots in the library for some future projects...
