After the 1960's ambience of Courchevel, here's the pretty thermal spa town of Brides-les-Bains.
It was quite a pretty town in terms of buildings and colours.
The main thing that struck us was the flowers, which were everywhere. A considerable amount of money must have been spent on the flowerbeds, hanging baskets, and planters in the town.
Nice river flowing through the town.
For some reason, it made me (Ben) think of Portmerion, and more particularly the atmosphere of "The Prisoner"...
Yet another odd little shopping arcade.
Trying to play with long-exposure settings on the new camera.
There's another post coming soon, Amy's pictures of the various flowers and bits of wildlife in the village.
