So a couple of weeks ago we had our family hols up to Northumberland, a bit of the country we'd never been to before. Plenty of landscape, architectural, and transport photography, so the next few updates will be featuring different shots from the trip.
So to start things off, a few shots taken around Berwick on Tweed, specifically the old and the new road bridges...
Old and (relatively) new- the medieval stone bridge and the newer concrete version from the early 20th Century.
OK not a bridge, but the walled city of Berwick was nicely presented, and the Russian cannon looking out to sea was a nice opportunity for a shot.
More tomorrow.
