More from the DMU Gala on the KWVR; we were back from Wrexham by lunchtime, so in between other jobs around the valley I (Ben) fit in a bit of photography.
Starting point was Keighley, where the blue 101 was arriving on a shuttle from Ingrow.
One of many slightly unlikely destinations.
Climbing out of Keighley.
I had business up in Haworth later in the day, so went for a walk up towards top field. Lots of horses about.
This was the one I was after, the two Pacer trains; the green unit making a very rare passenger turn.
The 2MT was trundling around as well throughout the day.
The Pacers again, returning to Oxenhope.
Back at Oakworth as the light faded.
Last shot of the day. Not a bad haul of photographs, considering I was fitting it in around a lot of other jobs and an overnight in Wrexham.
I managed to get a couple of shots published; one of the Pacer twins on the Haworth-Oxenhope stretch, in "Push and Pull" (the KWVR's house mag), my first in this mag for a while...
...and similarly, Rail Magazine, who I've also not published with for some time.
